Questions

Frequently asked questions

Everything you need to know about mobile dog grooming in Austin TX.

How it works

How does mobile dog grooming work?

We drive our fully equipped grooming van to your home or driveway. Your dog is groomed inside the van — one-on-one, no other dogs, no cages, no waiting room. We handle everything from bath to blowout to breed-specific cut.

Do I need to be home for the appointment?

You don't need to be home, but we do need access to your driveway or parking area. We'll call when we arrive and call when we're done.

How long does a mobile groom take?

Most full grooms take 1.5–2.5 hours depending on breed, size, and coat condition. Bath & brush services typically take 1–1.5 hours.

What does your grooming van have?

Our van is a fully self-contained grooming salon. It has a professional grooming table, high-velocity dryer, warm water bath, all grooming tools, and its own power and water supply. We don't need anything from you.

Pricing & booking

How much does mobile dog grooming cost?

Pricing depends on your dog's breed, size, and coat condition. Small dogs typically start around $60–$90 for a full groom, large dogs $100–$150+. Call or fill out our form for an exact quote.

How do I book an appointment?

Call us at (512) 299-9618 or fill out our online form. We'll call you back within a few hours to confirm your appointment time.

Do you charge extra for traveling to my area?

No travel surcharge for most of Travis County and Williamson County. We may add a small fee for areas over 35 miles from central Austin — ask when you book.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept cash, credit card, Venmo, and Zelle. Payment is due at the time of service.

Dogs & breeds

Do you groom all breeds?

Yes — we groom all breeds from small Chihuahuas to large Bernese Mountain Dogs and Huskies. Our van is equipped for any size dog.

Can you groom anxious or reactive dogs?

Yes. Sarah is Fear Free certified and has extensive experience with anxious dogs. We go at your dog's pace. In some cases we may split the session into two shorter visits.

Do you do puppies?

Yes — we offer a Puppy First Groom service for puppies 8 weeks and up. We use Fear Free techniques and go slow to make it a positive experience.

Can you handle large or giant breeds?

Absolutely. We regularly groom Huskies, German Shepherds, Golden Retrievers, Bernedoodles, and similarly sized dogs. Our table adjusts for all sizes.

Services

What's the difference between a full groom and bath & brush?

A full groom includes a bath, blow dry, breed-specific haircut, nail trim, ear cleaning, and teeth brushing. Bath & brush is the same without the haircut — perfect for short-coat breeds or between full grooms.

Do you do de-shedding treatments?

Yes. Our de-shedding treatment uses a specialized shampoo, high-velocity blow-out, and professional combs to remove loose undercoat. It can reduce shedding by up to 80% for several weeks.

Do you offer teeth brushing as an add-on?

Yes. We use enzyme-safe toothpaste and a soft brush. Available as an add-on to any service or as a quick standalone visit.

Can you do nail trims only?

Yes. Nail trim is available as a standalone service (15–30 minutes) or as an add-on.
